Mother's Day and Birthday Gift for my mom

My mom had no idea I was doing this for her for Mother's Day and her Birthday this year. I told her she needed to give me some ideas so I could get her somthing even though I had already had these pictures taken. I had to place dumb with her so I wouldn't give it away and ruin the surprise. I gave her a 9 picture phot frame with some of the pictures in it Saturday night so we could get some pictures of her with her gift. She loved it and started crying. She definately was not expecting this at all. THANKS TO HALEY GRAYDON FOR TAKING THE PICTURES FOR ME. We took them downtown on Morris Avenue. They really turned out amazing. There are ore on my facebook if you want to see more than these few on here. I really like this first pictures because my green eyes really stand out and pop. All of the pictures turned out really good.

E-Women's Conference 2010

Me and Lysa TerKeurst. She spoke on how one of her sister's death impacted her life and how God's love is still there no matter what you go through in life. I got her book called "Becoming More than a Good Bible Study Girl." I am working and trying to find time to read it. It was definately worth going to this event. I am so glad I was able to go. Every speaker was amazing.
I got the priveledge to work with Michelle McKinney-Hammond and her crew at the conference. I enjoyed being able to serve with Michelle, Faith and Dana for the weekend. They flew all the way from Chicago to speak to us here in Alabama. I was blessed beyond imagine. It was worth getting up earlier than I normally do and not getting much sleep. I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I felt honored to serve with them and let God use me however he wanted to during the weekend. During the altar call, there were about 50 people that responded. It was an awesome feeling knowing that what was shared from all the speakers spoke to people in the crowd. It was awesome.
This is me and Faith, one of Michelle's assistants, that came with her. She was funny. We had some good conversations while waiting on Michelle to speak and during the breaks. Friday night's service, we talked the entire time like we knew each other for more than a couple of hours. She definately did not have a nothern accent for sure.

Me and Sheri Rose Shepherd. She spoke on how we are God's princesses. We are the APPLE OF GOD'S EYE. We are so special in everyway to God. She was definately an amazing speaker. She spoke Friday night and it was incredible. Just being able to be fed with God's word from a woman of God is an amazing feeling.

Me and Karen Kingsbury. Saturday afternoon was shared about the Love of God. It was fire!!! Everything she spoke on was so amazing. She definately spoke to me. She is definately an inspirational speaker to all ages. She was one of my favorite speakers throughout the whole conference.

Me and Mark Schultz. He was one of the bands there. He was joined by Jeremy Camp and Charles Billingsly. Worship was amazing. He was somewhat funny too.

Paintings!!!

These are some painting that a guy painted during our services. There are 2 or 3 more that I didn't get to take a picture of. He free handed all of these. It was amazing to watch him paint it, and see it come together. It was very neat to see him paint these. I was like so amazed by the end result. Everybody has a gift that God has given them, and this is his for sure. I wish I could do that. I know I could if I learned how to do it. To look at the paintings and to see the details in each one is awesome. Every feature is detailed good. I love them!!!

After Youth Convention 2010

Youth Convention was amazing. The theme for youth convention was THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING!!! Desperation Band lead worship and it was fire!!! God defiantely showed up. Also, Reggie Dabbs spoke in all of our services. He spoke to many people and lives were changed!!! Jesus, SAY MY NAME!!! Reggie had some times where he was funny with some jokes but the other times was serious. God was definately getting the attention and knocking on peoples hearts for change. It was awesome to see all of the kids responding to the altar calls he gave. I AM READY NOW, NOT LATER!!! "You can't change your past, but you can change your future!!!" One song that Depseration sang was called Highlest Place. Some of the lyrics are- If I go to the heaven or down below, you are right there waiting; If I rise on the wings of the dawn, you are there; I will find you waiting. You're everything, You're in everything, You're in every cry, It all ends and starts with You my King!!! Those lyrics speak life to me!!! Our youth group was definately challenged and we are not looking bad, we are pressing on!!!

Youth Convention 2010

This weekend, I have the priveledge to be apart of Youth Convention 2010. I have been for the last several years and it has been awesome, even though I will be running on little sleep. That is ok though. Desperation Band is going to be there and I am excited about them being there to lead worship. They are definately awesome. It is going to be awesome. Reggie Dabbs is also going to be there speaking. It is going to be a fun filled weekend with some fun times and some time alone with God. I am hoping everyone that goes will gain something from this weekend. I hope to have some pictures up sometime next week of this weekend. The girls stayed at my house last year. Even though they will not be much sleep gotten, it will all be worth it in the end.

School- January 11- May 5, 2010

Well, this semester has started off pretty good. I am taking OAD 110, which is navigating through Windows Vista, OAD 217, which is Office Management, and ACT 145, which is Accounting. The accounting class has proven to be the harder one out of the three. At least I only have to have one class of it. So, after this class, there is no more accounting classes for me. Thank goodness. I know I can do it and make it through this class. It will take some effort and willpower, but I am going to do good in this class. I am trying to keep a positive attitude about all of my classes. If I put my mind towards anything, I can do it. It has been a fun few months of classes already. I know it will be worth it in the end to have done well in my classes for my degree.

I only have about a year and a half or less till I will have my associate's degree in Applied Science to do Medical Support Specialist, which is in Business Information Systems. I can not wait to have my degree and to graduate from Jeff State. It will be here before I know it. I am knida ready for it to be over and to graduate now. I am ready to start my intership for my degree. Maybe in the Spring of 2011, I can start my intership!!! YAY!!! Well, that is all I have about school for right now.

Eric and Kelly's wedding

On January 16, 2010, Kelly Bean and Eric Gilliland united as one!!! It was beautiful from start to finish. The church was packed. Everything turned out perfect, and couldn't have been any better. Her dress was gorgeous. I am thankful I was able to help out with her wedding. Eric and Kelly definately have a desire for God and to see each other grow in Jesus and have a love for one another. Wish you could have been there to witness it.
